Oilfield Innovations Limited is a Scottish registered company formed in 2010 by two directors, each with over 35 years experience in drilling, completion, intervention and abandonment, who are marketing over 90 worldwide patents. The company seeks to exchange control of their patents for development funding and wishes to speak with any interested entities.
Oilfield Innovations' patented technologies include drilling, completion, intervention, well design and downhole fluid separation. Well design patents include single casing production sharing, multi-well conductor sharing for batch drilling of sections to dramatically increase efficiency and large diameter high pressure conductors that allow downhole separation of fluids before leaving the well and entering the pipeline. Oilfield Innovations also own patents in dual gradient drilling technologies, top-down cementing technologies and drill string generation of LCM to cure lost circulation problems. Finally, Oilfield Innovations own patents in rig-less well abandonment that can save 30% to 60% of offshore P&A costs compared to a drilling rig.
Oilfield Innovations have patented all of their new technologies in major commercial areas including the USA, European Union, UK and China. Oilfield Innovations has also patented their most promising new technologies in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Russia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
